
Stephen Bellehumeur joined Furever Homes and Lodging, The Society for Animals in Distress as our Shelter Coordinator in June of 2024 with a lifelong passion for animal welfare As the Shelter Coordinator, he oversees the daily care of the animals in our shelter, ensuring every resident receives the medical attention and socialization they need to thrive while awaiting their forever homes.

Ashley started out with us as a Co-op student and impressed us so much with her work ethic that we offered her a position as an Animal Care Attendant. Ashley’s passion for animals has been a guiding force her life since childhood. She has always felt a deep connection with pets, growing up with everything from dogs and cats to smaller animals like rabbits and fish.
