Our Shelter team.

Tammy Van Roon is our current Business Manager, where she leverages a diverse background in strategic management and community leadership.  With a unique career trajectory spanning real estate, public service, and military leadership, Tammy brings a robust skill set in operational excellence, fiscal management, and community engagement to the non-profit sector.

Ripley and Stephanie are a compassionate husband-and-wife Animal Care team.

Ripley’s practical skills in animal handling and ability to remain calm in high-stress situations ensure a safe and stimulating environment for every animal.

Stephanie compliments Ripley’s skill with a background in veterinary assistance and education.

Ashley started out with us as a Co-op student and impressed us so much with her work ethic that we offered her a position as an Animal Care Attendant.  Ashley’s passion for animals has been a guiding force her life since childhood. She has always felt a deep connection with pets, growing up with everything from dogs and cats to smaller animals like rabbits and fish.
